We resonate as similar jellies
Floating in walking coral seas

Sometimes aspiring to be eternally
aware parts of some infinite crystal
of clearly defined vibration and energy
The playful communal universe of form,
colour, texture, harmony, synchronisation
The effortless pattern permeating the stars,
the air, and in the flesh of women and birds,
the lace of flowers and the wood of giants
that have stood for thousands of years

And all the time
slime of unseeing simple things
remorcelessly consuming each other
in their competitive pattern of survival
seethes around this and will consume it
like it ruthlessly consumes even giants
if ever this vibrant pattern forgets itself

Dark fear, hiding, sadness and sleep
Sparkling love, joy and awakening
I go now to sing and dance
And remember to eat
